Reese and I made chocolate chip cookies. We used the Nestle Tollhouse recipe except I used only 1 3/4 cups of white flour and 1/2 cup whole wheat flour. It was not noticeable so next time I'll increase the wheat, decrease the white. I added a tablespoon of applesauce to add some extra moisture since the wheat is sort of dry.
Reese loved dumping all the ingredients in.He was a bit upset that he couldn't crack the egg.He wanted to taste it every step of the way, from a bite of straight butter (yum) to a spoonful of flour (spit out).He really liked the completed cookie dough! He did a nice job helping put the dough on the cookie sheet.Of course he LOVED the finished product.

I use 100% wheat flour in my chocolate cookies and my hubby actually prefers it that way! He goes on and on to people about how wonderful they are. I always have to explain to people that they are nothing amazing, just regular old chocolate chip cookies. Anyway, be brave....give it a try : )
